Gospel musician Linet Munyali known to many as Size 8 has landed a job at Milele FM, which is set to premier on Sunday, February 14.
Size 8 made the announcement to her fans on Friday, February 12, through her social media pages. She stated that she would be hosting Tambira Milele every Sunday from 10am to 2pm.
“New doors for God’s glory. Brand new youthful show. Kweli Mungu umetenda,” she wrote on Instagram.
The renowned musician will host the show alongside Samuel Muraya aka DJ Ray.
The DJ has been working on NTV’s Crossover 101 since DJ Mo, who is Size 8’s husband, quit abruptly.
On the other hand, Size 8 has been hosting the MinjiMinji show on Rembo TV since May 2020, when she replaced vlogger Maureen Waititu. The show revolves around motherhood and mental health and is a good platform for young mothers.
When she clinched the opportunity last year, Size 8 stated that her love for her children made her the perfect host for the show.
“I love my children beyond all reason I don’t even think I’ve ever loved anybody the way I love my children and I know mothers can relate…as moms our greatest wish is that our children always know how much we love them, and that they walk through the rest of their lives knowing we will always be there for them anyway we can,” she stated.
Size 8’s announcement came just days after she released a single, Umetenda.
Some of her other hit songs include; Pale Pale, Afadhali Yesu, Mateke, Yahweh and others.
